“Political Day” Features Mayor, Supervisor of Elections and Commissioner Dance

L.E.A.D. Flagler Class #1 met for their third installment of the Chamber’s leadership program, “Political Day.” Flagler County Supervisor of Elections Kaiti Lenhart welcomed Class #1 with any overview of Flagler County’s elections process, which features the coordination of over 250 poll workers, extensive safeguards and the accurate counting of tens of thousands of votes.

Florida Chamber Sr. Director of Political Advocacy Andrew Wiggins presented attendees with analysis of the Florida’s electorate, including recent polling results. Flagler County Commissioner Andy Dance joined Class #1 for a lunch discussion about his political experience and perspectives. Ending the day, Palm Coast Mayor David Alfin concluded with an overview of his duties as Mayor, including a comprehensive discussion on his focus on preparing Palm Coast for the future.

The Palm Coast-Flagler Regional Chamber thanks Supervisor of Elections Kaiti Lenhart, Florida Chamber’s Andrew Wiggins, Flagler County Commissioner Andy Dance and Palm Coast Mayor David Alfin for volunteering their time to help expose current and future community leaders to the inner-workings of Flagler County’s political process.
