At today’s Flagler County Board of County Commissioners meeting, County Administrator Heidi Petito shared an update that Superintendent of Schools, Kathy Mittelstadt, has asked for a 60-days extension (to the first meeting in March) for the School Impact Fee increase discussion, which has been contested by builders, developers and others.
Mrs. Petito stated that she has met with Superintendent Mittelstadt and a meeting is on the books with the Flagler Home Builders Association to attempt to permanently resolve this issue. The Chamber will continue to watch this issue closely and will share the latest information as it becomes available.
