At the Wednesday, July 20, 2022, Flagler County Tourism Development Council meeting, the City of Palm Coast unveiled their conceptual design for the highly anticipated “Southern Recreation Center,” which will feature many tennis and pickleball courts, in addition to a newly constructed clubhouse/community center. It’s important to note that the Southern Recreation Center will built with $0 ad valorem tax dollars. The $11 million facility is being funded by over $7 million in Park Impact Fees, paid by newly constructed homes. This shows growth pays for incredible community-wide amenities when our local governments properly plan. Click the video below to hear the details:
