Flagler County Sheriff Rick Staly hosted the Palm Coast-Flagler Regional Chamber’s CEO Roundtable in June 2023. In addition to providing his expert insight on what it takes to maintain Flagler County’s already-low crime rate, Sheriff Staly led the CEO Roundtable on a behind-the-scenes tour of the new Flagler County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO) Operations Center. The data analysis, technology, and focus on FCSO deputies and professional staff impressed local business leaders.
Built to grow with the County as our population increases, the FCSO Operations Center features all the amenities of a modern police department. Drones, crime labs, technology and a few heavy duty vehicles highlight the what it takes to keep Flagler County’s crime rate low and residents safe. Community safety is a major component of Flagler County’s high quality of life, according to research presented by Sheriff Staly.
