Director of Membership and Marketing

Partial Remote Work Schedule

Pay: $40,000/year

Benefits: Paid Time Off

  • Membership sales
    • Immediate: This position will focus on identifying and closing members who will invest at either $2,500 or $1,000 annually.
    • Future: This position will lead the development of our Small Business Council volunteer group that will provide direction on small business initiatives the Chamber will engage in.
      • Will be responsible for developing lower levels of chamber membership for Board approval (i.e. $500, $250 membership levels)
    • Expectations: Initial door-to-door outreach of potential members. Minimum sales to offset salary/costs
  • Event Sponsorship Sales
    • This position will support the selling of event sponsorships
  • Event planning
    • This position will work both independently and with the support of a committee(s) to create, plan and successfully execute chamber events.
  • Member support
    • Along with the President & CEO, this position will work directly with business leaders/chamber members to respond to requests for support.
  • Marketing/Communications/Social Media
    • Help the Chamber build out additional social media platforms, such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram.
    • Contribute to chamber communication efforts, including recommending and/or writing content.
  • Support Committee Development/Build-Out
    • In addition to the creation, roll-out and development of the Small Business Council, it’s anticipated that additional committees will need to be established, including Membership/Ambassadors and potentially others.
